Welcome to Flamingo Removals. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our website and services.

1. General Overview

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of our website, customers who use our services, and any parties engaging with Flamingo Removals. By accessing or using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. This document outlines the legal framework for the use of our website and services and clarifies the responsibilities of both Flamingo Removals and the client.

2. Definitions

  • “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Flamingo Removals.
  • “Client,” “Customer,” or “You” refers to the individual or company who uses our services.
  • “Services” refers to all removals, transportation, packing, storage, and associated services offered by Flamingo Removals.

3. Service Agreement

By booking our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Flamingo Removals. The agreement comes into effect once a quotation has been accepted, either verbally or in writing, and we have confirmed the booking. All services provided will be subject to these terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes provided by Flamingo Removals are based on the information supplied by the client, including the size of the property, the number of items to be moved, and the distance involved.
  • Our quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any additional services or modifications requested after the quote is issued may result in additional charges.
  • Prices may vary depending on the availability of services, season, or last-minute bookings. We will inform you of any price adjustments prior to confirmation.

5. Booking and Cancellation

  • All bookings must be confirmed by a member of our team. A confirmation will be sent once your booking is processed.
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the agreed date will incur no cancellation fee. However, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the date of service may incur a charge equal to 50% of the quoted price.
  • Flamingo Removals reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, vehicle breakdowns, or staff shortages. We will make every effort to notify you promptly.

6. Service Scope

  • Flamingo Removals will provide the moving, packing, and storage services as agreed upon. We are not responsible for services outside of those specified in the agreement unless prior arrangements are made.
  • We will transport your belongings to the designated location as per the agreed contract. We aim to deliver on time, but we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • Any additional services such as dismantling and reassembling furniture, disconnecting or reconnecting appliances, or additional packing must be arranged in advance. These services may incur additional fees.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure that all items for removal are packed and ready for transportation by the agreed time unless we are providing packing services.
  • It is your responsibility to inform Flamingo Removals of any special circumstances that may affect the move, including parking restrictions, narrow access routes, stairs, elevators, or restricted entry points. Failure to provide this information may result in additional charges.
  • You must ensure that your belongings are fully insured if required, as Flamingo Removals’ insurance may not cover certain items such as valuables, antiques, or fragile items unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

8. Liability and Insurance

  • Flamingo Removals takes great care when handling your belongings, but we are not liable for any loss or damage to items unless caused by our negligence.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all items are insured before transportation. Flamingo Removals offers optional insurance coverage for an additional fee to cover damage or loss during transit. Please inquire about these options at the time of booking.
  • We do not take responsibility for any damage caused to property or belongings due to incorrect packing, unsafe access routes, or poor condition of items (e.g., already damaged or fragile items).
  • Any claims for damaged or lost items must be made in writing within 24 hours of delivery.

9. Excluded Items

For safety and regulatory reasons, Flamingo Removals cannot transport or store the following items:

  • Hazardous materials, such as flammable or explosive substances.
  • Perishable items, such as food or plants.
  • Valuable items including jewelry, cash, and personal documents unless previously agreed upon.

If these items are found during a move, Flamingo Removals reserves the right to refuse their transportation.

10. Packing and Storage

  • If packing services are included in your contract, Flamingo Removals will provide high-quality packing materials and professional packing services to ensure that your items are secure for transportation.
  • Items stored at Flamingo Removals’ facilities are subject to our standard storage agreement. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all items stored are properly insured.
  • Storage fees will be charged as per the agreed storage duration. Clients must give at least 48 hours’ notice before retrieving stored items.

11. Access and Parking

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure there is appropriate access and parking available for Flamingo Removals’ vehicles. This includes obtaining necessary permits or arranging parking spaces for the duration of the move. Any parking fines or penalties incurred during the move due to insufficient parking arrangements will be the responsibility of the client.

12. Force Majeure

Flamingo Removals will not be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver services caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war, labor strikes, accidents, or government restrictions.

13. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected during the booking or service process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. 14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be addressed promptly and professionally. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to engage in mediation before seeking legal recourse.

15. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

Flamingo Removals reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the client’s responsibility to review the terms regularly. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any modifications.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes or legal actions related to these terms or our services shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
